Remote Desktop for Windows

Windows Users:

If you are using a Windows based PC (Dell, HP, Toshiba, Sony, Lenovo, Gateway, etc.), click on the  icon below to download the configuration file.

Step 1: Download and save this file to your desktop. (connect-to-tpe.rdp)

  If you are prompted with the below window, then click on "Save As" and save it to desktop  

 

If you are prompted with the below window, then click on "Save As" and save it to desktop

 

You should then see "Connect-to-TPE" file on your desktop.

Step 2: Connecting to TPE

  • Double-click on the "Connect-to-TPE" file on your desktop

If you see the below window, make sure to check "Don't ask me again for connections to this computer" 

Click the Connect button

You will then be prompted to enter your username and password.

Type in "TPE\[your login name]" in the username box and the password (same as the one you use to login here @ work) and click OK

Note: Its very important to prefix your username with "TPE\", otherwise you wont be able to connect.
  •  If you see the below window, make sure to check "Don't ask me again for connections to this computer" and click Yes button
Note: you might see this window popup multiple times, and if so, follow the above procedure
  • This will then let you login to our Terminal Servers.
